From Eindhoven you fly direct with Ryanair to Madrid-Barajas (MAD) in about 2 hours 30; from Schiphol also with KLM, Iberia and easyJet. From the airport, metro line 8 takes you to the centre in 25 minutes (around €5 including the €3 airport supplement), or take the Cercanías train C1/C10. In the city a single metro ride within Zone A costs €1.20 (2026 extended discount) (up to 5 stations) or €2 (more than 10 stations).
A 10-journey card (Metrobús) costs €7.30 on a reusable Multi card (one-time €0.50 deposit). Day passes for Zone A: 1 day €10, 2 days €17, 3 days €22.50. Paper tickets are no longer sold; buy tickets at the machine or via the CRTM app.

- Rosaleda del Parque del Oeste Madrid's rose garden, located in the Parque del Oeste near the Templo de Debod. More than 20,000 roses in bloom from May to June. Free entry, daily from 10:00 to 21:00.
