Affiliate disclosure

CheapTrips is free to use and earns a commission when you book through one of our links. You pay exactly the same price as when you book directly with that provider.

Who we are

This website (cheaptrips.nl) is operated by CheapTrips.nl, registered at Albertina Agnesstraat 256, 1814 MD Alkmaar, the Netherlands. Contact: support@cheaptrips.nl. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 84773146.

Cookies

We use functional cookies (necessary to make the site work) and, with your consent, analytical cookies to understand which pages get visited so we can improve the site. We do not use marketing or tracking cookies for ads.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time, just as easily as you gave it: click 'Cookie preferences' at the bottom of any page to reopen the cookie banner and adjust your choice. You can also refuse or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings.

Personal data

We don't collect a user account. When you plan a trip we store your search (destination, dates) only in your browser (localStorage) so you find it back later. We do not transmit it to our servers.

Affiliate redirects

When you click a "Book" button, we redirect you to the booking partner. They process your booking and personal data according to their own privacy policy. CheapTrips itself doesn't see your booking details.

External services

Besides the partners above we use:

• Google Analytics 4 for visitor statistics, loaded through googletagmanager.com. We use Consent Mode: until you give consent, analytics_storage stays denied. IP addresses are anonymised.
• Metricool for statistics about our social channels. This script only loads after you have accepted analytical cookies.
• Google Fonts for the typefaces (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com).
• Wikimedia Commons for the photos on our pages.
• Netlify as our hosting provider: this website and our server functions run there.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. You can request this via support@cheaptrips.nl.
