Cheap airport parking
Airport parking doesn't have to cost a fortune. The biggest saving is booking online in advance, plus picking the right option between official car parks, shuttle parking and valet. Here's how per Dutch airport.
The golden rule: book ahead
The barrier rate is almost always the most expensive. Park for a week or more and booking online in advance can cost half as much. Reserve as soon as your flight is set, because the cheapest spots go first, especially in holiday periods.
Schiphol
Officially P3 Long-stay with a free shuttle is the best value (from around €60 per week when booked early); P1/P2 by the terminal are far pricier. Cheaper still are the many private shuttle and valet operators around the airport. By train from anywhere in the country you're often cheaper and faster than parking. Plan your trip via our Schiphol guide.
Eindhoven Airport
P1 is within walking distance and the most expensive; the P3 and shuttle car parks a little further out are the best value, from roughly €40 per week when booked early. Reserve online, as Eindhoven fills up fast in summer. More about this airport in our Eindhoven guide.
Rotterdam The Hague Airport
Parking here is straightforward and relatively cheap; the car parks are within walking or a short shuttle distance. Booking ahead saves money here too. By metro or bus from Rotterdam Central you're there in 20-25 minutes with no parking costs. See our Rotterdam guide.
Brussels and Weeze
At Brussels Airport (Zaventem) it's best to reserve in advance; the train station under the terminal is often most convenient. Charleroi and Weeze Airport are easiest by car and have cheap car parks. Always compare parking plus fuel against the train.
Shuttle, valet or P+R: which to choose?
Shuttle parking is usually cheapest: you park a little further out and a van takes you to the terminal. Valet is pricier but super handy: you drop your car at the departures hall. P+R at a train station can be the cheapest option if you don't live near the airport.
